At the core of my practice is the understanding that meaningful growth begins by finding stability from where you are. By honouring your existing strengths and capacity, we build from a reliable foundation toward deeper integration and a more resilient sense of self, connection, and belonging.

Therapy Background:
I am a Registered Psychotherapist and certified Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner based in Toronto, Ontario, with 10 years of clinical experience. My work centres on the ways early and relational experiences shape the nervous system, the sense of self, and our capacity for connection — and how understanding this developmentally opens the door to greater wellbeing and potential. I am currently completing an MSc in Infant Mental Health, which continues to deepen and inform this focus.
My training spans somatic and depth-oriented approaches alongside cognitive-behavioural frameworks, mindfulness-based practices, and couples and family systems therapies — drawn on responsively, and sustained by ongoing consultation, practitioner study groups, and a personal practice. I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Practitioners (OAMHP).

Individuals
I work with adults at different points in their lives — those navigating current difficulties like stress, trauma, or relational strain; those managing ongoing challenges such as anxiety, low self-esteem, or chronic exhaustion; and those coming with a desire for personal growth, greater self-understanding, and meaningful change.
Across these experiences, the underlying dynamics that impact daily life often shape functioning in ways that are easier to recognize on the surface than to understand at the root. This might show up as harsh self-criticism, procrastination, relational withdrawal, addictive behaviours, or cycles of hyper-performance and collapse, among others. Beneath these patterns, there can also be a quiet, heavy weight of fear, sadness, anger, shame, or guilt that feels difficult to unpack on your own.
The work itself involves tending to these root dynamics rather than simply managing symptoms — sorting through confusion or ambivalence, processing painful emotional states safely, building capacity where it has been depleted, and recovering the ability to think, feel, and move with intention. When neurodivergence is part of your experience, this may include identifying patterns of overextension, masking, and sensory or regulatory strain, while building a more purposeful approach to daily life grounded in your own needs and strengths rather than external expectations.
Together, we work on building emotional and cognitive skills alongside insight and relational awareness, supporting deeper understanding and lasting change in the patterns that have outlived their purpose. The work is collaborative, paced according to what you are ready to explore and what feels most relevant to your life.
Couples and Families
I take an emotionally focused and systems-oriented approach to couples and family therapy. Drawing on EFT-C and Contextual Family Therapy, I support each person in understanding their own emotional experience and relational patterns — including those influenced by cultural context, intergenerational dynamics, or neurotype — while developing greater capacity to see and respond to one another.
Common presenting concerns often centre around communication breakdowns—such as repetitive cycles of conflict or withdrawal—as well as deeper attachment injuries and the process of trust repair. We also navigate the friction caused by major life transitions, the relational impact of individual mental health struggles, and systemic imbalances in caregiving or emotional labour.
An important part of this work is building each person's capacity to recognize and regulate their own emotional responses — because new ways of connecting are only possible when each person can stay present enough to access them. This means attending to the patterns, roles, and dynamics that have developed within the system as a whole, rather than locating the difficulty in any one person, with the ultimate goal of building a relational system that supports genuine connection, fairness, and long-term well-being.
Frontline and First Responders
I provide support for frontline workers and first responders — including those in emergency services, healthcare, corrections, and related fields — managing the toll that sustained occupational stress and trauma exposure takes on mental health, identity, and relationships.
Areas of focus include occupational trauma, moral injury, and chronic hypervigilance. Together, we address the cumulative toll of burnout, compassion fatigue, and vicarious trauma—including how these states manifest as emotional numbing, anger responses, sleep disruption, and difficulty transitioning out of operational mode between shifts.
I have completed the Provincial Occupational Awareness Training and draw on trauma-focused, somatic clinical modalities to address chronic nervous system dysregulation and cumulative occupational exposure. Sessions are collaborative and paced according to what you are ready to explore.
Clinical Supervision for Mental Health Practitioners
I welcome mental health practitioners at various stages of practice who are looking for a supportive, collaborative, and informed supervisory relationship. This includes practitioners new to the field, as well as established clinicians seeking to engage in reflective practice or deepen the somatic, experiential aspects of the work.
Our sessions offer a structured space for navigating complex clinical presentations, working through countertransference and vicarious trauma, or managing occupational anxiety and burnout. A central area of my practice includes building your clinical confidence in integrating trauma-focused and somatic-based skills into your work by helping you cultivate a more grounded and embodied clinical presence.
I meet the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) requirements to act as a Clinical Supervisor and am registered in good standing. This supervision supports your professional registration requirements and alignment with provincial standards.
Collaborative Psychiatric Consultation with PMVC
For active clients whose treatment plans require diagnostic clarity or a medication review (such as for complex trauma, ADHD, or mood stabilization), I am able to coordinate shared care through the PMVC network.
Please note: This collaborative service is strictly reserved for individuals engaged in an established, ongoing therapeutic relationship within my practice.
